Wijaya Ibo vs Teuku Semot

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Indonesia-West Java promoted show at Golds Gym, Bekasi,  taking place on 22/12/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Indonesia-West Java Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Indosiar, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wijaya Ibo (10(6) - 3(3)) who hails from Bekasi, Indonesia and Teuku Semot(9 - 2(1) - 5) from Bekasi, Indonesia.  Both Ibo and Semot weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jakub Hoving, and the three ringside judges are Gesang Fahriansyah, Faisyal Slamet and Victori Ysidora.  

Round 1:

Semot advances into close range.  Ibo throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Ibo holds on to his opponent.  Semot leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Ibo pushes his forearm into Semot's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ibo.

Semot closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Ibo ties up his opponent.  Ibo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ibo feints a jab and triggers a right hook counter from Semot.  Ibo is waiting for the shot and counters with a VICIOUS cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE SEMOT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Semot almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ibo tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a solid jab.  
Ibo lands a jab.  
Ibo finds the target with a jab.  
Semot advances into close range.  Ibo drives a potent left hook into his opponents body.  SEMOT IS HURT!  Semot almost instantly recovers. 
Ibo steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Ibo is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Ibo lands a right hook, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  Semot now seems to have got his legs back.  
Ibo switches the action to the outside and is on target with a firm overhand right.  Ibo throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Ibo EXPLODES a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  SEMOT HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Semot's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Semot's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ibo steps to the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Ibo is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Ibo lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS SEMOT DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ibo!
