Javier Villicana vs Alvino Banlaygas

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at DeltaPlex, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 16/12/2023:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Javier Villicana (7(3) - 1 - 1) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Alvino Banlaygas(10 - 1 - 2) from General Santos, Philippines.  Both Villicana and Banlaygas weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leeroy Shedden, and the three ringside judges are John Kennan, Andy Duke and Max Gura.  

Round 1: 

Banlaygas contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Villicana hits home with an overhand right.
