Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at DeltaPlex, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 16/12/2023:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Blake Mamon (1 - 0) who hails from Providence, USA and Verdun de Vigny(1 - 0) from Quebec City, Canada.  Mamon weighed in at 108 pounds, while de Vigny weighed in at 107 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leeroy Shedden, and the three ringside judges are John Kennan, Andy Duke and Max Gura.  

Round 1: 

Mamon lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Mamon is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Mamon steps inside.  Mamon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
de Vigny tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Mamon sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mamon feints a left, and then lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Mamon lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Mamon ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mamon pushes his forearm into de Vigny's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mamon.  
Mamon steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mamon lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Mamon is looking to close the distance.  Mamon lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as de Vigny dabs at his face checking for damage.
