Sam Coupland vs Nathan MacCormack

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Sexy Boxing promoted show at Big Gym, Wolverhampton,  taking place on 09/12/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Sam Coupland (1 - 0) who hails from Middlesbrough, UK and Nathan MacCormack(2 - 1 - 2) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both Coupland and MacCormack weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Boduch, and the three ringside judges are Davie Lowden, John McBride and Henry Florian.  

Round 1: 

Coupland is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Coupland clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Coupland pushes his forearm into MacCormack's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Coupland about fouling.
