Leo Gray vs Daiki Tsuchiya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Hirohata Gymnasium, Himeji,  taking place on 25/12/2023:

Clearly AI Japan-Hyogo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leo Gray (9(7) - 0) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Daiki Tsuchiya(3 - 1 - 3) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Gray and Tsuchiya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiro Katayama, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Matsuno, Kazuhiko Sugita and Iwao Okazaki.  

Round 1: 

Gray gets on the inside.  Gray pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.

As they grapple, Gray pushes his forearm into Tsuchiya's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gray to stop fouling.  
Gray sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tsuchiya throws a left hook, but Gray clinches his opponent.  Gray uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Tsuchiya behind the head. The ref breaks Gray's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
