Etebo Garuba vs Aftab Akhter

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kaduna State promoted show at Kaduna Ogunkoya, Kaduna,  taking place on 27/12/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Etebo Garuba (7 - 0) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Aftab Akhter(9(2) - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Garuba weighed in at 126 pounds, while Akhter weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.
