Kelby Sogge vs Elias Cederquist

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Stockholm Thunstrom, Stockholm,  taking place on 20/12/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Kelby Sogge (1 - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Elias Cederquist(1 - 1 - 3) from Gothenburg, Sweden.  Sogge weighed in at 232 pounds and 2 ounces, while Cederquist weighed in at 218 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rasmus Loftin, and the three ringside judges are Viggo Classon, Vincent Beckman and Tage Eld.  

Round 1: 

Sogge gets on the inside.  Sogge pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Sogge quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Sogge backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Cederquist tries to tag Sogge on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Cederquist hits home with a left hook.  
Cederquist sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sogge is on target with a cross.  
Cederquist advances into close range.  Sogge digs in a right uppercut to Cederquist's body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cederquist dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sogge tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sogge is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Cederquist sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sogge connects with a left hook.  
Sogge lands a cross.  
Sogge steps inside.  Cederquist sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sogge attempts to land a left hook, but Cederquist parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sogge steps inside.  Cederquist attempts to land a right hook, but Sogge dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sogge lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sogge lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cederquist's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cederquist's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Round 2: 

Cederquist gets on the inside.  Sogge digs in a right uppercut to Cederquist's ribcage.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Cederquist.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Sogge connects with a cross.  
Sogge is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sogge lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sogge switches the action to the outside.  Cederquist sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sogge lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cederquist gets on the inside.  Sogge drives a right uppercut into Cederquist's body.  
Sogge connects with a cross.  
Cederquist sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cederquist throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sogge tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
