Sam Kinman vs David Hier

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 08/12/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sam Kinman (1 - 0) who hails from Charleston, USA and David Hier(0 - 1 - 2) from Las Vegas, USA.  Kinman weighed in at 107 pounds And 8 ounces, while Hier weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Barnes, and the three ringside judges are Henry Messer, Johnny Cornejo and Andy Saenz.  

Round 1: 

Kinman gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hier tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kinman cuts off the ring, trapping Hier in the red corner.  Kinman lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kinman dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hier steps to the outside.  Kinman lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Kinman sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He then lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Kinman is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Hier pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kinman lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Kinman throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hier is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Kinman lands a cross.  
Kinman closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
