Michi Jo vs Keiichi Akagi

Boxing Daily Report from the Maloian Promotions promoted show at Jiro Oshiro Gym, Fukuyama,  taking place on 23/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Michi Jo (1 - 0) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Keiichi Akagi(0 - 1) from Kawaguchi, Japan.  Both Jo and Akagi weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Saito, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Niwa, Nori Oye and Nori Oye.  

Round 1: 

Jo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Jo digs in a left hook to Akagi's liver.

Akagi attempts to land a right uppercut, but Jo blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
