Euan Creach vs Neron Barro

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at UNF Arena, Jacksonville,  taking place on 23/12/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Euan Creach (6(3) - 0) who hails from Oakland, USA and Neron Barro(6 - 7 - 2) from Mixco, Guatemala.  Both Creach and Barro weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Briden, and the three ringside judges are Paul Corse, James Villasana and Dave Kay.  

Round 1: 

Barro closes the distance.  Creach is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Creach is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a firm cross.  
Creach drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Creach tries to keep the action at long range.  Creach feints a jab, fooling Barro into launching a left hook counter.  Creach springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Creach feints a left hook, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Barro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barro tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a big left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  BARRO IS HURT!  Barro quickly recovers. 
Creach connects with a cross.  
Barro advances into close range and manouvers Creach onto the ropes.  Creach lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Barro recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Creach is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Barro advances into close range.  Creach pivots from in front of his opponent.  Barro throws a left hook, but Creach ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Creach pushes his forearm into Barro's face.  The referee warns Creach and breaks the clinch.  
Creach is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Creach feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Creach lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Creach switches the action to the outside and lands a firm overhand right.  
Barro lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barro's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Barro's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Creach tries to step out of his opponents range.  Creach feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Creach quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Creach tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Creach DETONATES a FEARSOME cross on his opponents face.  BARRO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Barro quickly recovers. 
Creach lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Creach lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Creach lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Barro now seems to have got his legs back.

Creach is looking to keep his distance.  Creach stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Creach lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING BARRO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Barro closes the distance and forces Creach to retreat onto the ropes.  Creach lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS BARRO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Barro is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Creach!
