Hikaru Katayama vs Hiro Handa

Boxing Daily Report from the Muntari Promotions promoted show at Granship Medium Hall "Earth", Shizuoka,  taking place on 16/12/2023:

Clearly Muntari Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hikaru Katayama (1 - 0) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Hiro Handa(1 - 4) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Katayama and Handa weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Miyamoto, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Nishimoto, Takeshi Furutani and Hisoka Nakamura.  

Round 1:

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
