Diego Villafuerte vs Santiago Fierro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Alto Parana promoted show at Alejandro Cilia Gym, Ciudad del Este,  taking place on 29/12/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Paraguay-Alto Parana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Villafuerte (7 - 6) who hails from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Santiago Fierro(5 - 5 - 3) from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.  Villafuerte weighed in at 147 pounds, while Fierro weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alvino Porro, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Yniguez, Vicente Picon and Alejandro Tabares.
