Boxing Daily Report from the Banks Prized Promotions promoted show at Longshoreman's Hall, San Francisco,  taking place on 19/12/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ethan Ashdown (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Ibrahim Syed(0 - 3) from Worcester, USA.  Both Ashdown and Syed weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Catherwood, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Mahmoud, Clint Grullon and Paul Herring.  

Round 1: 

Ashdown stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Syed tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ashdown switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Syed blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Syed closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  Syed tries to land a right hook, but Ashdown blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Ashdown steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Syed walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Syed is on target with a left hook.
