Soo-il Shim vs Yasushi Yamamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Maloian Promotions promoted show at Jiro Oshiro Gym, Fukuyama,  taking place on 23/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Soo-il Shim (1 - 0) who hails from Daejeon, South Korea and Yasushi Yamamura(3 - 2 - 1) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Shim and Yamamura weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Saito, and the three ringside judges are Nori Oye, Takeshi Niwa and Nori Oye.  

Round 1: 

Shim steps inside.  Shim pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Shim is looking to close the distance.  Shim pivots to the right of his opponent.  Yamamura hits home with a right hook.  
Shim lands a cross.  
Shim lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shim gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Yamamura tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shim closes the distance and lands a left hook.  
Shim pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Shim advances into close range.  Shim pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shim lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Yamamura is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yamamura dabs at his face checking for damage.
