Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 01/01/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mitsuru Ogata (7 - 4 - 2) who hails from Kasugai, Japan and Hitoshi Kimura(4 - 0) from Nagoya, Japan.  Ogata weighed in at 108 pounds, while Kimura weighed in at 107 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Taro Jo, and the three ringside judges are Mikio Yasuda, Satoshi Iwai and Raiden Matsui.
