Diego Baena vs Santiago Morones

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Villicana, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/01/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay-Montevideo Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Baena (7 - 1 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Santiago Morones(11 - 2(1) - 2) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Baena and Morones weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Rangel, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Canedo, Rico Rogero and Santiago Remedios.
