Mahmud Sharaf vs Khankishi Iskanderov

Boxing Daily Report from the Zungu Promotions promoted show at Uzbekistan-Samarqand Gym, Samarqand,  taking place on 02/01/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uzbekistan-Samarqand Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mahmud Sharaf (16 - 0 - 1) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Khankishi Iskanderov(11 - 2 - 1) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Sharaf and Iskanderov weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Afil Afzal, and the three ringside judges are Vasili Talgatckyzy, Viktor Kosaeff and Yaman Tahirov.
