Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 30/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are John Argyle (6 - 0) who hails from Dallas, USA and Joshua Vita(0 - 0 - 1) from San Diego, USA.  Both Argyle and Vita weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Hier, and the three ringside judges are Charles Keath, Dave Greenan and Bilal Elbaz.

Argyle closes the distance and drives a right hook into Vita's ribs.

Argyle walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Argyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Argyle manages to force Vita onto the ropes.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Argyle has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Argyle steps inside.  Argyle pivots from in front of his opponent.  Argyle hits home with a left uppercut.  Argyle clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Argyle walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Vita digs in a right hook to Argyle's body.

Argyle forces Vita to back into a neutral corner.  Vita tries to land a left uppercut, but Argyle blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Argyle throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
