Hugh Doe vs Peter Vizard

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 16/12/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hugh Doe (2 - 0) who hails from San Jose, USA and Peter Vizard(3 - 4(1)) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Both Doe and Vizard weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Fred Reese, Charles Keath and Bilal Elbaz.  

Round 1: 

Vizard attempts to land a jab, but Doe slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Vizard is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Doe is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Vizard cuts off the ring, trapping Doe in the corner.  Vizard lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Vizard drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Doe lands a cross to the body, an overhand left to the head and a jab to the head.  
Doe advances into close range.  Doe connects with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Doe dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Doe hits home with a left uppercut.  
Vizard is on target with a jab.  
Vizard tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand right.

Vizard is on target with a left uppercut to Doe's body.
