Rob Labi vs Boris Kovarik

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Our Ladys Hall, Dublin,  taking place on 20/01/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Rob Labi (1 - 0) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Boris Kovarik(7 - 3 - 5) from Brno, Czech Republic.  Both Labi and Kovarik weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon McPeters, and the three ringside judges are Eoin McCadden, Leon Finnin and Lewis MacNevin.  

Round 1: 

Labi closes the distance.  Kovarik pivots to the side of his opponent.  Labi lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.
