Duncan Fullerton vs Felix Leeper

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at TooOldToParty Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 04/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Duncan Fullerton (2 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Felix Leeper(0 - 0) from Geelong, Australia.  Both Fullerton and Leeper weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark McBride, and the three ringside judges are Mark Givan, Malcolm Hanken and Michael Pac.  

Round 1: 

Fullerton tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fullerton gets on the inside.  Fullerton lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  As Leeper tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fullerton dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Fullerton drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Fullerton walks his opponent into the corner.  Fullerton lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Fullerton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Fullerton gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Leeper sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fullerton lands a jab.  
Fullerton closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Fullerton ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Fullerton pushes his forearm into Leeper's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fullerton forces Leeper to back into the ropes.  Fullerton lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Fullerton holds on to his opponent.  Fullerton uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Leeper's kidney. 
Fullerton advances into close range and lands a right hook.

Leeper tries to step out of his opponents range.  Fullerton lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Fullerton walks Leeper into the red corner.  Leeper throws a right hook, but Fullerton ties up his opponent.  Fullerton leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Fullerton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fullerton about fouling.  
Fullerton lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Fullerton drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Fullerton advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Fullerton closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Fullerton closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Leeper switches the action to the outside.  Fullerton feints a left hook, and then is on target with a jab.  
Fullerton advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fullerton lands a stinging right hook.  Fullerton ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Fullerton pushes his forearm into Leeper's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Fullerton to stop fouling.  
Fullerton lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Fullerton holds on to his opponent.  Fullerton leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
