Justin Hulme vs Denton McNish

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at TooOldToParty Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 04/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Justin Hulme (2 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Denton McNish(2 - 0 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Hulme and McNish weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Hanken, and the three ringside judges are Mark McBride, Michael Pac and Mark Givan.  

Round 1: 

Hulme sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Hulme closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hulme lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

McNish steps to the outside.  Hulme drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  McNish lands a jab.

McNish throws a left hook, but Hulme ties up his opponent.  Hulme tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits McNish behind the head. Hulme pushes his forearm into McNish's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hulme.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McNish's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  McNish's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McNish's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
