Malcolm McAfee vs Nick Buccico

Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at Melbourne Fate, Melbourne,  taking place on 20/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Malcolm McAfee (8 - 3 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Nick Buccico(1 - 3 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both McAfee and Buccico weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Niven, and the three ringside judges are Alastair MacIntyre, Hugh Collins and Alastair MacIntyre.  

Round 1: 

Buccico lands a left hook.  
McAfee tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McAfee attempts to land a left hook, but Buccico blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.
