Reynaldo Vallejos vs Larenzo Malara

Boxing Daily Report from the Monare Promotions promoted show at Gimnasio Alexis Arguello, Managua,  taking place on 11/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBC Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Reynaldo Vallejos (12 - 2) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Larenzo Malara(11(3) - 3(1) - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Vallejos and Malara weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francisco Osegueda, and the three ringside judges are Gabriel Morejon, Xaverius Valcarcel and Angel Miranda.  

Round 1: 

Malara advances into close range.  Malara lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Malara.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
