Mason Pickens vs Will Marconi

Boxing Daily Report from the Hard hitting promotions promoted show at John Isaacs Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 01/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Mason Pickens (2 - 2) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Will Marconi(2 - 1 - 1) from Buffalo, USA.  Both Pickens and Marconi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dom Leland, and the three ringside judges are Max Patrick, Isaac Cornog and Glynn Dobson.  

Round 1: 

Marconi lands a cross.  
Pickens is looking to close the distance.  Pickens sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to Marconi's body.

Pickens feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Pickens steps away from his opponent.  Pickens feints a left hook, and then connects with a cross.  
Pickens pivots to the left of his opponent.  Pickens lands a jab.  Pickens tries to land a cross, but Marconi sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Pickens's body.
