Kian Hopa vs Sammy Pham

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 14/01/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Commonwealth Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kian Hopa (12 - 1 - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Sammy Pham(12(1) - 2 - 1) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Hopa and Pham weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Horsburgh, and the three ringside judges are George Brain, Kyle Stine and Mike Sproule.
