Sam Wallander vs John Craigen

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Gethin Nicholson Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 31/12/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Sam Wallander (1 - 0) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and John Craigen(0 - 1) from Oceanside, USA.  Both Wallander and Craigen weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Langer, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Mattus, Nathan Langer and Brad Dey.  

Round 1: 

Wallander lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Wallander manouvers Craigen onto the ropes.  Wallander lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.

Wallander lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Wallander digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.

Wallander gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wallander is on target with a right hook to Craigen's body.  
Wallander quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Wallander pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Wallander closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Wallander manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Wallander lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Wallander lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Wallander ties up his opponent.  Wallander leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wallander steps inside.  Wallander sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Wallander is on target with a right hook to Craigen's body.  Wallander holds on to his opponent.  Craigen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Wallander pushes his forearm into Craigen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wallander to stop fouling.  
Wallander is on target with a left hook to Craigen's body.  
Wallander closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Craigen throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Wallander lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wallander closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
