Hrvoje Mesic vs Davor Majer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Croatia-Zagreb promoted show at Obad Gym, Zagreb,  taking place on 16/01/2024:

Clearly AI Croatia-Zagreb have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Croatia-Zagreb Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hrvoje Mesic (10 - 2) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Davor Majer(5 - 10(1) - 1) from Zagreb, Croatia.  Both Mesic and Majer weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dragutin Jakopovic, and the three ringside judges are Duško Perišic, Ladislav Plancic and Milan Tomic.  

Round 1: 

Majer steps away from his opponent.  Mesic hits home with a firm overhand right.  Mesic attempts to land an overhand right, but Majer sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Mesic sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Majer throws a right hook, but Mesic holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Mesic's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Mesic lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Mesic connects with a left hook.
