Confucius Ip vs David Slaight

Boxing Daily Report from the Banks Prized Promotions promoted show at Albany Capital Center, Albany,  taking place on 23/01/2024:

Clearly Banks Prized Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Confucius Ip (12(2) - 0) who hails from Xiangyang, China and David Slaight(2 - 1 - 2) from Augusta, USA.  Ip weighed in at 121 pounds And 5 ounces, while Slaight weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dom Kilgour, and the three ringside judges are Joel Domenici, Gianni Cossutta and Cole Milroy.  

Round 1: 

Ip closes the distance.  Slaight throws a left hook, but Ip clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ip pushes his forearm into Slaight's face.  The referee warns Ip and breaks the clinch.  
Ip lands a left uppercut.  Ip holds on to his opponent.  Ip throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ip lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ip clinches his opponent.  Ip leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Slaight throws a right hook, but Ip holds on to his opponent.  Ip leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ip's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ip sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ip drives a left uppercut into Slaight's body.  Ip ties up his opponent.  Ip hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Ip hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.

Slaight tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ip behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Slaight.

Ip walks Slaight down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Ip thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Slaight away.  Ip lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS SLAIGHT!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Slaight has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ip is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE SLAIGHT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Ip is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Ip lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES SLAIGHT!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ip!
