Larenzo Gil vs Gonzalo Montemayor

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Falla, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 17/01/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Larenzo Gil (10 - 3) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Gonzalo Montemayor(13 - 3) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Gil weighed in at 134 pounds and 6 ounces, while Montemayor weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Manco, and the three ringside judges are Nemesio Carrero, Porfio Puerto and Esteban Favela.
