Boxing Daily Report from the Hard hitting promotions promoted show at David Geels Gym, Nassau,  taking place on 14/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Paul Maxton (2 - 0 - 1) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Diego Dario(2 - 4) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Maxton and Dario weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich Tod, and the three ringside judges are Mark Dugal, Dominic Bass and Jack Binnie.  

Round 1: 

Dario throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Maxton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Dario throws a left uppercut, but Maxton clinches his opponent.  Maxton leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Maxton pushes his forearm into Dario's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
