Ricky Newall vs James Lecce

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 27/01/2024:

Clearly Hennessy Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ricky Newall (2 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and James Lecce(6 - 5 - 3) from Newcastle, Australia.  Both Newall and Lecce weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alec Saghatelian, and the three ringside judges are Jake Denniston, Leeroy Nicolaides and James Christou.
