Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palmer Events Center, Houston,  taking place on 09/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Javier Villicana (8(3) - 1 - 1) who hails from Trujillo, Peru and Ian Ortiz(7 - 3 - 2) from Modesto, USA.  Villicana weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces, while Ortiz weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Henry Messer, and the three ringside judges are Paul Mings, Sid Hackney and Sean Richards.  

Round 1:
