Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Dom Kennedy Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 01/01/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Davie Johnston (1 - 0 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Callum Garis(1 - 3) from Sydney, Australia.  Johnston weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces, while Garis weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arran Ritchey, and the three ringside judges are Dale Holland, Jake Denniston and Steven Malas.  

Round 1:
