Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney,  taking place on 11/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Paul McRobbie (2 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Jay Vert(2 - 5 - 4) from Melbourne, Australia.  McRobbie weighed in at 147 pounds, while Vert weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Letson, and the three ringside judges are Dave Antoni, Saad Tarar and Sam Bean.

McRobbie forces Vert to retreat into the corner.  McRobbie lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.

McRobbie closes the distance.  As Vert tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  McRobbie has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut .

McRobbie advances into close range.  McRobbie drives a right uppercut into Vert's ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vert dabs at his face checking for damage.
