Mark Ovens vs Declan Aird

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 05/01/2024:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Mark Ovens (1 - 0) who hails from Fremont, USA and Declan Aird(0 - 3 - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Both Ovens and Aird weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Celestino, and the three ringside judges are Paul Speed, Floyd Celestino and James Curto.  

Round 1: 

Aird pivots to the left of his opponent.  Aird throws a left hook, but Ovens clinches his opponent.  Aird leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ovens gets on the inside and forces Aird to retreat into a neutral corner.  Ovens lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ovens steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ovens lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ovens lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Ovens digs in a right hook to Aird's body.  
Aird tries to keep the action at long range.  Ovens is on target with a jab.  
Ovens closes the distance and lands a left hook.  Ovens holds on to his opponent.  Ovens is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Ovens pushes his forearm into Aird's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

As they grapple, Aird pushes his forearm into Ovens's face.  The ref breaks Ovens's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ovens lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ovens drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Ovens digs in a right hook to Aird's body.  
Ovens drives a left hook into his opponents liver.
