Ian Di Fonzo vs Elliot Shankland

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 06/01/2024:

Clearly Rattlesnake Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ian Di Fonzo (2 - 0) who hails from Providence, USA and Elliot Shankland(1 - 3) from Indianapolis, USA.  Di Fonzo weighed in at 112 pounds, while Shankland weighed in at 111 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Danny Henderson, and the three ringside judges are Amon East, Chris Suit and Floyd Celestino.  

Round 1: 

Di Fonzo voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Shankland accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Di Fonzo.
