Shankar Toor vs Yu Ban

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Fars promoted show at Shiraz Mourad, Shiraz,  taking place on 24/01/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shankar Toor (14 - 0 - 1) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Yu Ban(8 - 1) from Isfahan, Iran.  Both Toor and Ban weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Khalid Yusuf, and the three ringside judges are Amer Shahidi, Waqas Hannan and Khalid Sarwar.
