Kenji Shiro vs Iwao Tamashiro

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Hyogo Prefectural Cultural Gymnasium, Kobe,  taking place on 29/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kenji Shiro (9 - 3) who hails from Kurume, Japan and Iwao Tamashiro(8 - 6) from Kobe, Japan.  Shiro weighed in at 114 pounds and 9 ounces, while Tamashiro weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Maekawa, and the three ringside judges are Michi Soma, Keiichi Koyanagi and Iwao Sumida.  

Round 1: 

Shiro closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Tamashiro's ribcage.
