Afanas Imasheff vs Rovshan Backir

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kazakhstan-Almaty promoted show at Almaty Ablyazov, Almaty,  taking place on 24/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kazakhstan-Almaty Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Afanas Imasheff (6 - 6 - 1) who hails from Almaty, Kazakhstan and Rovshan Backir(10 - 3 - 3) from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Imasheff weighed in at 126 pounds, while Backir weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sajid Moldogareew, and the three ringside judges are Waqas Mazhitoff, Sergei Baighanow and Kashif Abyckassym.
