Shane Cassidy vs Rodney Beck

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Hull City Hall, Hull,  taking place on 03/02/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shane Cassidy (10(9) - 0) who hails from Galway, Ireland and Rodney Beck(9 - 4(1)) from Dresden, Germany.  Both Cassidy and Beck weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andy Creech, and the three ringside judges are Harry Marchbank, Daniel McPhillips and Alex Bean.  

Round 1: 

Cassidy is on target with a jab.  
Cassidy is on target with a solid cross.  
Cassidy steps to the outside.  Beck feints a right, and then is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  Beck tries to land a jab, but Cassidy parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cassidy is on target with a jab.  
Cassidy switches the action to the outside.  Cassidy sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Beck is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Beck sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Cassidy lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Beck hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Beck steps inside.  Cassidy lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Beck throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cassidy is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Beck steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Beck lands a left hook.  
Cassidy switches the action to the outside.  Beck feints a left hook, but Cassidy is not fooled and lands with a firm right hook.  
Beck attempts to land a jab, but Cassidy dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Beck steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Beck walks Cassidy into the corner.  Beck sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cassidy is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Beck pivots to the left of his opponent.  Beck tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Beck digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Beck is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Cassidy slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Beck hits home with an overhand left.  
Beck advances into close range.  Cassidy quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Cassidy drives a firm right hook into Beck's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cassidy's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Cassidy advances into close range.  Beck throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  BECK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Cassidy is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cassidy is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Cassidy lands a right hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND BECK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Cassidy lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Beck looks like he is out on his feet here...he's unable to defend against these shots!.  He gets hit again flush, and the ref steps in!  He's seen enough!  The winner by TKO is Cassidy!
