Quico Vagay vs Pablo Borjon

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at UST Sports Centre, Manila,  taking place on 10/02/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Quico The Thing Vagay (15(5) - 0) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Pablo Borjon(13 - 0) from Zamboanga City, Philippines.  Both Vagay and Borjon weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onofre Dimasalang, and the three ringside judges are Rico Cabatingan, Francisco Santoyo and Federico Buhain.  

Round 1: 

Vagay gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  Vagay holds on to his opponent.  Vagay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
