Gig Pineda vs Selestino Rogel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Ngwenya Gym, Saltillo,  taking place on 26/01/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gig Pineda (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and Selestino Rogel(6 - 6 - 6) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Both Pineda and Rogel weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Cassillas, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Macia, Xaverius Montera and Dimos Lona.  

Round 1: 

Rogel gets on the inside.  Pineda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
