Afanas Byambajargal vs Davaa Merkulov

Boxing Daily Report from the Mpaso Promotions promoted show at Ulaanbaatar Monkhbayar, Ulaanbaatar,  taking place on 26/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mongolia-Ulaanbaatar Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MNB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Afanas Byambajargal (6 - 3) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Davaa Merkulov(4 - 1) from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.  Both Byambajargal and Merkulov weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fo-hai Won, and the three ringside judges are Sidki Cajrkuloff, Baz Dashi and Muthanna Togsbayar.
