Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 10/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are David Edwards (4 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Jean Claude Meerschaert(4 - 3) from Rotterdam, Netherlands.  Both Edwards and Meerschaert weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Baldy, and the three ringside judges are Iain Cooper, Irfan Assaf and Sammy Dunkerson.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Edwards dabs at his face checking for damage.  Edwards has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
