Shinji Nakao vs Mitsuru Okazaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Ekstein Promotions promoted show at Sam Gym, Kitakyushu,  taking place on 23/01/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Shinji Nakao (2 - 0) who hails from Kawaguchi, Japan and Mitsuru Okazaki(1 - 2 - 1) from Sendai, Japan.  Nakao weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while Okazaki weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Hasegawa, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Sawa, Satoshi Shinsato and Yuji Sakai.  

Round 1: 

Nakao advances into close range and drives a right hook into Okazaki's ribs.

Okazaki throws a right hook, but Nakao clinches his opponent.  Nakao is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Nakao is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Nakao's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Nakao cuts off the ring, trapping Okazaki in a neutral corner.  Nakao lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Nakao ties up his opponent.  Nakao is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
