Lee Toy vs Fumio Shimoda

Boxing Daily Report from the Ekstein Promotions promoted show at Sam Gym, Kitakyushu,  taking place on 23/01/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lee Toy (2(2) - 0) who hails from Fuyang, China and Fumio Shimoda(8 - 0) from Sapporo, Japan.  Toy weighed in at 168 pounds, while Shimoda weighed in at 167 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Hasegawa, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Sawa, Yuji Sakai and Satoshi Shinsato.  

Round 1: 

Shimoda steps inside and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Toy is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Shimoda attempts to land an overhand left, but Toy dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.
