Anton Banasik vs Isaak Isakov

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Vilnius Bialas, Vilnius,  taking place on 21/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Anton Banasik (4(2) - 0) who hails from Bratsk, Russia and Isaak Isakov(6 - 5) from Minsk, Belarus.  Both Banasik and Isakov weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wojtek Szydlowski, and the three ringside judges are Wojtek Kedzierski, Marik Sosinski and Sylwester Gola.  

Round 1: 

Banasik is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Banasik ties up his opponent.  Banasik pushes his forearm into Isakov's face.  The ref breaks Banasik's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Banasik lands a firm left uppercut.  
Banasik is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Banasik ties up his opponent.  Banasik is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Banasik steps inside.  Banasik pivots to the side of his opponent.  Banasik lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  Banasik clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Banasik pushes his forearm into Isakov's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Banasik.  
Banasik advances into close range.  Banasik quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Banasik gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Banasik closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Banasik sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Isakov switches the action to the outside.  Banasik feints a jab, and then lands a firm cross.  
Isakov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Isakov throws a left hook, but Banasik holds on to his opponent.  Banasik is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Banasik steps inside and connects with a firm right hook.  
Banasik pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Banasik lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Banasik quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Banasik advances into close range and walks Isakov onto the ropes.  Banasik hits home with a firm right hook.  
Isakov throws a right hook, but Banasik holds on to his opponent.  Banasik leans on his opponent using all his weight. Banasik pushes his forearm into Isakov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Banasik about fouling.  
Banasik is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Banasik steps inside and is on target with a solid right hook.

Isakov throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  ISAKOV IS HURT!  Isakov quickly recovers.

Isakov steps away from his opponent.  Banasik quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Isakov attempts to land a jab, but Banasik slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Isakov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Banasik knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Banasik lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING ISAKOV TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Banasik lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS ISAKOV SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 8.  Isakov now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Isakov throws a left uppercut, but Banasik holds on to his opponent.  Banasik leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Banasik's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Isakov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Banasik lands a straight 1 - 2, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Isakov could be stopped here, if Banasik can find the right shot!  Banasik EXPLODES a DESTRUCTIVE right hook into his opponents face.  ISAKOV IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE ISAKOV THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Banasik!
