Brad Eidson vs Matthew Newburn

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 20/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Brad Eidson (3 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Matthew Newburn(13 - 4) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Eidson and Newburn weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Durie, and the three ringside judges are Corey Pait, John Taggart and John Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Eidson lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
