Yasushi Asai vs Se-jong Ryu

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Hyogo Prefectural Cultural Gymnasium, Kobe,  taking place on 29/01/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Yasushi Asai (3 - 0) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Se-jong Ryu(0 - 1) from Seoul, South Korea.  Asai weighed in at 115 pounds, while Ryu weighed in at 114 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Maekawa, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Koyanagi, Michi Soma and Iwao Sumida.  

Round 1: 

Ryu hits home with a right hook.
